Jenny Lyon Workshop Wrap-Up

Just a quick note to describe the wonderful workshop that Jenny did for the ACQG this past Saturday, February 4, 2023. Everyone had a great time, as Jenny is a great teacher and has a playful approach to her style. She covered a LOT of information about what to do and what not to do when free motion quilting. Here are some of the things she covered: Machine set up, thread and tension, needles, bobbins, batting and some helpful tools to have on hand specific to free motion quilting. She covered 5 different quilt patterns that are best for beginners. The best take away was that mistakes are part of the charm of your quilt.
